Varsity Boys Soccer is off to a good start with a record of 4-0-2 on the season. Head Coach Chris Mason stepped down at the end of last season after welcoming his first child in the late summer. Bridger Stapleton, who served as Assistant Coach for seven years, is now the team’s new leader. Stapleton is also the Boys Soccer Coach at Carmel, a position he’s held for six years.

Captain Emmanuel Sanchez (#10) said,  “We miss Coach Mason, but Stapleton has stepped up in big ways.  It’s sad to see a great coach leave but the team is in great hands, and Coach Stapleton is ready to continue the legacy.”

Coach Stapleton plans to lead the team to victory.

And by the way, the new bundle of joy–a boy–is named Navy.
