Meet Hailey Richmond, HHS featured athlete who wears #23. Hailey is a sophomore who plays basketball but, surprisingly, it isn’t her favorite sport. Her favorite sport is actually football, which she wanted to play but can’t because HHS doesn’t offer it. She is a dance coach at Millennium Allstar. After high school, Hailey would like to own her own real estate firm.
Hailey has been playing basketball since her freshman year. She also attends Pikes Peak State College through the concurrent enrollment program, where she takes English and history classes. Gulong Craft, Hailey’s boyfriend, would describe Hailey as ”loving, athletic, beautiful, kind and a good team basketball player.” Aniyah, Hailey’s best friend, would describe her as” a leader–determined, a good communicator, and good at persevering.”
Hailey says, “You only get one chance at life, so live it right.”
