Harrison High School’s varsity football team lost Friday’s game in Pueblo County despite their efforts to improve since their slow season start.
Coach Leboeuf (Biff), the Varsity Head Coach, believed the offensive execution and the team getting behind early were the main downfalls of the game.
Brenden Chacon-Martinez, (12) team QB1 wearing #3 agreed on the need for the team to come together and continue playing hard. “We should have held each other accountable and come together earlier so we could perform at our best.” Returning running back, Carlos Preciado (12) wearing #22, added, “We were all playing on different chapters. It was a struggle all around.”
Coach Biff and Coach Melo intend to work on blocking assignments and responsibilities more during practice. In spite of the loss, the coaches believe this young team has a really bright future to look forward to as they keep working toward their first win.
