Sierra kicked the ball off to Harrison. It was a game with the cup on the line–a cup that has been home at Harrison for the last 12 years.
It was a strong start, with a score of 30-0 at the half, and only got better. Terrence Thomas (WR), said, “It felt great to win back the trophy after losing it last year.”
Mateen Briggs also said ” We shouldn’t have lost it last year, so this year was a statement of saying we don’t give up.”
In a show of sportsmanship, they let the time run out. “When our team had their mind set to it just being another game instead of going against our rivals, it kept their head in the game,” said Head Coach Al Melo.
